Suitable battery for Gemini II

Hi,

I'm about to buy my first Gemini II unit, and want to order my first Li-Fe battery to go with it.
I only have experience with NiMh batteries.

I'm looking at this product: https://www.lindinger.at/en/ai…-mah-2s-7-2v-comp-act-15a
but don't know if it is suitable as on the photo it says Lion battery, but they are advertised under the LiFe category.
There seem to be less cables connected too. If they are unsuitable I think I will go for this: https://www.lindinger.at/en/ai…ack-li-fe-2200mah-6-6v-2s

Please advise the best choice.

Hello,

both packs will work. First is LiIon with 8.4V, second is LiFe with 6.6V.
You can use both for the Gemini, or you have a look to here: http://www.powerbox-systems.co…ucts/battery-systems.html. Check out the Eco version.

Thank you. Actually it says 7.2V not 8.4. Is that also okay?

8.4V is max voltage, 7.2V is nominal voltage

Hello Richard,

A question regarding the battery:
Can I connect battery with two different capacity ? I have a 3000mA and a 2500mA 2s lipos in my stock..
Another question, when the Gemini II is OFF do you have a "leak" current that could empty the lipos if connected ?

Hello,

yes you can connect two different, but you have to have an eye on the smaller one- it will be earlier empty

And yes- there is a leak current, but super low: 10µA each side.
