I will start a new build soon and have to be very careful about the weight (every gram must be saved!). I am thinking of combining the power wires of the servo connectors to share the pins for the current (mpx type connectors) but i wonder what the effect would be if i connect 2 or 3 servo outputs together.
this will work. But we do not recommend it:
1. If one servo burns or is blocking, the whole path is dead
2. Servo feedback current out of one servo may disturb the others
Just to name the disadvantages, of course you can do that, but you should have this in mind.
Have you seen the premium wire? It´s very light: https://www.powerbox-systems.c…/premium-servo-kabel.html
Yes i must use that wire but if i can save a few strands it might be worth it
The main issue is I want a small light weight PowerBus-box Mercury is the lightest alternative....
